The idea of painting on weed killer on difficult weeds is to be able to use
a stronger concentration to concentrate it where it is needed and to save
money. Whether on not you want to spray the stuff all over the place,
economics dictate that a weaker solution be used for spraying. This is the
way you can kill bamboo or three saplings that come up in the middle of a
shrub.
