Re: hydrangeas

Isabelle
oakleaf hydrangeas are one of the most beautiful of the hydrangeas family (in my
oponion) I remember the first time I saw one in bloom. I almost caused a pile-
up on the street I was traveling, because I came to complete stop in the middle
of the street.
I began right away trying to find ONE. I live in NE Mississippi. my local
nursery owner told me I could get as many as I wanted in the forrest in my area.
needless to say I have about 20 of them
I did not tell you this to be mean. I just realized how lucky I am to be able to
go out in the woods and dig up as many as I desire. every Feburary I replace
any that was lost for whatever reason the previous year.
mine have been in bloom for about 3 weeks now and I have enjoyed them so much,
wish I could pack up a box full for you, but they probable wouldn's live. I'll
bet you can grow hollyhocks and delphiniums, but I can't too hot and humid
here.
