RE: Moving

Hi Walter, you wrote:

I moved 700 plants of all kinds;

THAT IS AMAZING. I'll be afraid to even COUNT.

one of the great events in my lifetime( hmmm).

Somehow I sense a bit of tongue and cheek there!

Get help.

I think my son will be quite motivated since he has a garden now too.
28 years old and lots of energy ;-)

I had too many losses on trees,

I don't plan to take any of the trees, most are 10 years old at least and the one new one, a kousa dogwood, I won't try. They don't seem to transplant well in my one experience with that!

The reason we did this so fast is because I thought it would take 6 months,
maybe more to find the "gardeners heaven" , but it was found the first time
out; barn, stream spring house and just the right place to eat & sleep; some call it home.

Sounds wonderful! I assume it will take me longer as well to find something than to sell. But time will tell!

"grassed the entire place. And the japanese maple died from
drought stress..........besides, said the new owner, it didn't provide any
shade.

GROAN AND ROLLING MY EYES.

Well, as you can imagine, I can talk for hours on the experience, but it can
only be understood by those who do it. Therefore, I say, DO IT!

Thanks for the encouragement!
