I'm really writing to say I'm so so sorry about your beautiful hosta
bed. What a tragedy! If Vinca minor is any help in the interim I
will send you some.

That's wonderfully generous offer, Alyce and you're a sweetheart to offer
but I think I need to find something that will work right off the bat. I'm in
trouble as all I had in that bed was Hosta (I knew better than to do that...my
brain was on the fritz).

Have you tried Vinca 'Illumination'? That acid yellow really pops in a bed
that has lawn grass around it.

And, it was Karen, not moi, who suppliled those great web sites for hosta
diseases.

Can anyone suggest dynamite foliage shade plants that are anywhere from 12"
to 18"tall nad wide? I'm in zone 5a. Flowers would be a bonus but significant
ones, or long blooming ones, are not necessary. Dang...sure did love those
hostas.

Thanks again Alyce...what a super offer!
