Hi Joanie,
Christopher is right. It is entirely possible that you have other
problems that might just be weather related.
You can get hostas tested to see if a plant is infected. You could call
your county extension office to see if they have, or can get, ELISA
kits. This would give you a better idea on how to proceed.
