Cheryl its a Perennial it should be fine in bone dry with a weekly watering . Monty Don Gardeners World BBC TV rec watering anything once a week Off the net It needs a woodland situ,prtect from afternoon sun. Takes three years to develope a mature clump. Soil sandy or clay Ph /neutral/alkaline/acid Good luck it looks a great plant.
