For not-so-leggy roses (like Meidelands and The Fairy), I'm using dianthus
Bath's Pink and dianthus Tiny Rubies. I like Bath's Pink best, I think. For
lowing growing roses, a good companion.
I've not yet found a good pairing for leggy roses - in my zone, species
geranium don't do well in the full sun the roses require. Though I think
veronica and silver mound artemsia are good ideas. With a New Dawn climber,
I'm using lavender under it and Russian sage beside it.
Has does everyone feel about lavender with climbing roses or leggy roses?
Any other ideas for pairings with roses like climbers?
