Susan---

I planted knautia last year.  It stayed green all winter, with about an
18" mound.  Now its about a 24" mound and the stems are at least 2' with
the most gorgeous wine-colored flowers!!!  It is fast becoming my
favorite flower.  I also saw a knautia at the nursery with a pale colored
flower, but I think at this moment I prefer the wine.
