The reason why your obedient plants did not take was because you planted
them in good soil, optimum conditions, and you watered it! Mine gets no
special treatment whatsoever. To attest to its hardiness: it was the only
plant that survived that I had purchased from Michigan Bulb. Ha!! We all
know the reliability of THAT outfit...
I suggest you treat it like you would a bad relative -- ignore it, hope it
goes away, and when it stays around, don't give it anything to eat or
drink. Believe me, it will keep coming back and will bring others for
company.
