The poppy that opium is derived from.
Legally banned, but still widely grown.
The seed heads can be blended with 101 proof alcohol, strained and
stored for long periods of time. And eyedropperfull in a glass of
juice is a mild inducer of sleep for restless nights. (Like now, as
it's 4 am and I used the last of my poppy elixer last winter. It was
nearly two years old.)
