Jeanne - We are fairly new to gardening as well - We have a rather large shade garden, and have been working on a perennial sun plot - I truly believe that passionate gardeners fill their entire yards more as outlets for their ever regenerating perennials than anything else!! Many of our sun lovers were planted as tiny little shoots from a neighbor last year. This spring they have all returned and had babies themselves - we are already running out of people to pass starters on to, have mapped our new garden for next year, and have contacted a local gardening group which sells perennials to raise money for their volunteer work! Good luck!! And remember to always have a good sense of humor about all of this - I see it as a marvelous lesson in patience, something I greatly need! This comes from someone who went to the garden center with her husband five years ago, looked at tags, picked stuff we liked, and came home with about 5 types of ground cover! We feel we've come so far, and yet are ever amazed at how little we know about this marvelous topic! Jenny - Also here in the Harley Capitol of the world with Pat - rumor has it there will be 125,000 here by Saturday!!!!!
