Hi, Chris -- I got several varieties from Heronswood this year,
including two oxonianum varieties, a monacense 'Muldoon', a palustre
variety (which I know nothing about but nice foliage), and an incanum
'Album,' which is the cutest thing I ever saw - very thready fine silver
foliage that looks great as a weaver (zone 7, so it may not winter over
here). It's the only one that hasn't flowered yet -- the others started
blooming almost immediately after planting. Most of these are supposed
to have a long flowering season, which is why I got 'em. The x
magnificum is supposed to have a relatively later season (mine hasn't
bloomed yet, though it did last year). And the sanguineum striatum
blooms all summer for me, sometimes into Fall if it's not too hot &
dry. Who knows -- maybe we can do a trade next spring! :-)
