Re: Herb perennials?

Pottsey:

Lot's of herbs are perennials, probably too many to name. Some of my
favorites (right now anyway) are lemon thyme, chamomile, lavender,
bronze fennel...

Mints grow well in shade, but I'd advise EXTREME CAUTION! I cut the
bottoms out of some nursery pots and sank (sunk?) them in the ground for
mint. Some of them are escaping, anyway! But there are lots of mint
relatives that like the same conditions. I like mints because they come
in so many different variaties. I have spearmint, apple, pineapple,
chocolate, and lime.

Sweet woodruff supposedly grows in the shade: I don't know, I've killed
some several times, maybe it's the pH. I've concluded that tansy will
grow anywhere.

I've pretty much filled up my herb bed, and now I've started tucking
them in my borders.
