One of the lessons I learned from my mother's garden is don't plant mint.
It literally took over her back garden until it was a field of mint
(3'x10'). Although it did smell very nice. Of course she probably did not
weed as much as she could have and did not plant them in sunken containers.
I would rather not plant something that has the potential to become
invasive. From my grandmother I have learned not to plant four o'clocks...
