I'm in zone 5 and my daisies are all done. However, (caveat here) I have
cut them all back and some are reblooming already. These particular
daisies came in one of those *shade mix* cannisters (got lazy two years
ago and through the whole cannister into a 12' x 12' *L*-shaped garden)
I have no idea what variety they are other than tall and white with
yellow centers with an awful fragrance . . . .
My usual patch of shasta daisies in the front garden is just setting
buds now. They are early just as everything else is here in the upper
midwest. I probably won't have anything blooming in August. My normal
July-blooming flowers are setting bud and blooming now. Perhaps the tall
phlox will wait a bit since I pinched them off in June. . . . .the winter
and spring were so mild that I expect rebloom from things I never got any
blooms from before!!
