RE: Gaura/ Propagation/Homemade mist tents

Here are two homemade ways to set up humid "tents" for cuttings that are
in small plastic or peat pots:

1.	Enclose the cutting in an appropriately-sized zip-loc-type bag.
Put the cutting and pot inside, zip the bag almost shut, inflate gently
with air, and zip shut the rest of the way. Inflating the bag keeps the
sides of the bag from "plastering down" onto the cuttings.

2.	Take a glass or plastic jar with a screw top (e.g. our home
generates lots of plastic "Jif" peanut butter jars). Set the jar lid
on the window sill (saucer-like) and put your cutting and pot in the
lid. Gently place the jar over the pot and screw on. I prefer this
method (to the zip-loc one) as it allows you to regulate humidity
according to how tightly the jar is screwed into the lid, and also
allows for easy bottom-watering (if needed).
