Carol:
I have boltonia, Snowbank which as Jamie previously stated gets very
tall and wide. I have mine planted in between two other tall plants,
Physotegia, (obedient plant) and some tall Asian lilies. It is basically
surrounded on all sides by other plants. There is a Shasta Daisy, (Alaska)
on the other side. Also, I put a wire cage on it early in the season and
then in early May I prune it back a little. It might delay the bloom for a
short time but not enough to make a big difference. Mine is beginning to
bloom now and I love it.
