Barb, the Logee's catalogue says "Citrus are excellent houseplants.
They prefer temperatures in the 50's and 60's at night." I'm sure
they mean in winter as I know from personal experience that nights in
the Philippines and Florida don't get that cool in summer. So, all
you'd have to do is turn the heat down on winter nights -- save
money on heating costs and by growing your own oranges, lemons,
limes, calamondins, even something they call "Christmas" tangerines.
(OK, growing *some* of your own citrus.)
