Bummer. I bought this plant this spring thinking that it would be
hardier since it's a Verbena canadensis cultivar. Wonder why it
isn't as tough.
In searching on the Web I've come across some pages that indicate
a need for dry feet in the fall and winter. Maybe this contributes
to your parent plant's lack of vigor? Makes mulching hard too, I
bet...
Nice color though -- I love it with my Achillea 'Moonbeam'.
