I always find the blooming season so busy that I just keeping putting it
off until a complaint would sound silly, coming months (sometimes years

Last fall I ordered some Sun Disc narcissus from Wayside, but when they
bloomed they were all yellow, instead of yellow and white, as in the
picture. I just called and told them, and they immediately gave me a
credit for the purchase.
But this brings up another question I have - and please excuse if is it
not a perennial topic. One flower I really miss from my Southern
California childhood is naturalized Chinese Sacred Lilies (narcissus
which are not hardy.) I am trying to find a hardy substitute for them,
which is why I ordered the Sun Discs. Does anyone know the closest
hardy substitute for Sacred Lilies? I love the fragrance, in
particular. Guess I could force them indoors, but somehow that is not
the same.
