HELP!

Many thanks to those who have answered my call for advice on squelching the
activities of whatever animal is dining on my flowers. Unfortunately, in
my original post on this subject, I did not include a description of my
garden's setting. It is at the place where I work, in an area enclosed by
a chain-link fence; I think this precludes the deer theory, both because of
the height of the fence (and its barbed wire topping) and because this is
an industrial/residential area where the habitat for deer just doesn't
exist. Furthermore, a rabbit has been spotted in my garden. I've never
seen a groundhog in this area (i.e., not anywhere in the vicinity of our
place of business) so I think that is a very unlikely possibility. It
would be impossible for me to keep a dog here so that is not a feasible
deterrent. Even if I could keep a dog, I would be afraid he would run
across the garden (or sleep in it) and ruin what few flowers the rabbit
hasn't gotten. As of this writing, the trap hasn't caught anything. I
haven't checked for damage today; yesterday there was (I think) no fresh
damage; I had distributed more dried blood and the dog droppings late
Tuesday afternoon. I'm leaning more toward fencing in the garden itself
with chicken wire but want to exhaust all other options as the chicken wire
would detract considerably from the beauty of the garden.
