Galium odoratum--sweet woodruff

I had a wonderful weekend!  Found a local nursery going out of business :(
but selling everything at 40-50% off :).  I may brag (and practice those
Latin names) by compiling a list of what I bought, but have one specific
question.

I was reading an old issue of Horticulture magazine at the coffee shop and
it mentioned that galium odoratum was a great groundcover--then it was at
the nursery on sale, so I bought it.  Now, when I get home, the plant tags
say full sun, but other references say it is acceptable in shade?

Does anyone have experience in shade (my conditions)--Thanks in advance!
