this year is my first experience with poppies.   my neice gave me a can
of wildflower seed last fall and I sowed them in my flower beds.   I
wound up with about 8 plants.  2 of the 8 plants did fantastic.  they
are still blooming now.   that's when I went crazy for poppies.  I think
they are beautiful.   I don't know what kind they are.   one of mine is
red and the other is pink   the plant is about 18 to 24 in tall with a
very light green folage.   they have just outdid themselves.  I know the
red one has at leaste 25 or more seed pods on it.   for a little bitty
thing it over performed.
is your Johnny's a local co. or does he have a web site?
