I don't know about you but 2 of my many weaknesses are garden books and
cookery books. Strange combination I know but still.
My favourite perennial books as follows:-
Perennial Garden Plants by Graham Stuart Thomas(Garden advisor for The
National Trust in the UK)
isbn 0-460-86048-8
Pan Garden Plant series 'Perennials' volumes 1 & 2 by Roger Phillips and
Martyn Rix isbn 0-330-30926-9
The first is not heavily illustrated but gives a personal rather than
scientific viewpoint, the second 2 are fantatically illustrated with
interesting natural habitat info.
