Today is a good day to ask that question here in zone 9-- Are you
ready------- I have:
Shade: Curcuma gingers in bloom, one is a solid white
Asarum gingers
Tricyrtis formosana 'Amyethystina' is singing out
Pachyststachys coccinea (red)
Pink Jacobina
Pink Hydrangea (Grandma's)
Salvia discolor
Dietes bicolor (yellow)
Angel wing begonias
Walking Iris - blue
Clerodendrum thomsoniae and speciosisimum
Sun - Clerodendrum ugandense and bungei
Salvia 'Indigo Spires", coccinea 'Lady in Red', guarantitica
'Colbolt' and
Costa Rican', and madrense (yellow)
Cleome (purple)
Nearly Wild Rose
Wild honeysuckle (don't know the botancial)
Yellow Bulbine
Rudbeckia hirta 'Irish Eyes' and maxima
Tecoma capensis
Sky Vine (don't know botanical but has beautiful blue thumbergia
like
blooms, about 2 1/2 " each
Native turk's cap
Daylilies
Wild Ageratum
Brazillion Bachelor Buttons
Brugmansias - yellow, peach and white
Datura - double creamy yellow and double purple outside w/white
inside
Chartreuse (sp) Shrimp Plant
I better stop now - when I went outside to look I was very excited. Until
you asked this question I hadn't realized that the garden had come so alive.
For about the past week or so I haven't been out much because it is very hot
(that's why I've been on this computer so much)....now that I went out, I
think I will go and make a little bit of sun tea and enjoy the garden.
