Chris -
I can't tell you which one I have because I dug it up as a wildflower off
some friends property in Kellyville----that's what we call their place
because their last name is Kelly. Between Shiner and Cuero, Texas. It is
quite nice when it first appears in the Spring and the blooms are very
blue-----it began to look ratty just a short time ago---but when it bloomed
it was very very nice.
Okay - I'm looking in my Texas Wildflower book and there are three listed...I
would say mine looks like Commelina erecta (Erect DayFlower), ironically it
is not a spiderwort, just in the same family.
I have a couple of weeds that I like in my garden, one being Baptisia
leucophaea (Plains Wild Indigo), this one has soft yellow blooms and another
soft thistle like salmon bloom weed that I cannot find in any of my books. I
keep them in check but do enjoy them. In fact, Pam (Murfsmomma), like my
salmon colored weed too and took one home with her.
Happy Gardening
