Hi, Sophie --
Your message got through. I saw it but do not have the expertise that the
others do.
This may take some super-sleuthing on your part.
Do you have gutters along your greenhouse? Could there be a leak in that
spot?
Or do the others get more run-off?
Where do you (or your family) park your grill when using or not using?
Are there any pipes running through that area?
Could there be a leak from your greenhouse in that area?
Do you have drainage tile between the greenhouse and the patio?
Do you have an outside faucet in that area?
Do the leaves turn somewhat yellow B4 turning crispy?
Since its in the middle, does it get the same amount of water/nutrients as
the others? Possibly being in the middle is a "key" issue here somehow.
Does your patio have any kind of foundation/supoorts (can't think of the
right word)?
Now that the plant has grown, it may be more constricted than it was when
smaller?
Are all the peonies the same kind?
Have there been any changes to the patio -- furniture, pots, etc.?
Or changes in the vicinity around the patio?
Someone came in the garden center where I worked a couple years ago with a
similar problem. After much considering they discovered something simple but
can't remember what right now.
Hope your detective work turns up some possibilities.
And get back to me/us with some of your speculations.
Best Wishes --
