Re: Camellia japonica


The reason we are supposed to put them on the East side is so that when we
have a hard freeze the winter sun doesn't hit the leaves  while they are
still frozen (no browning then).  Also you have such hot summers I am just
not sure what to suggest.  Think morning sun down there would be sufficient.
We have a Cooperative Extension office that is very good about answering
questions like this.  I'd give them a call and get their advice.
