Re: Camellia japonica

Hi Kemberly--

I have several camellias in my zone 9 (northern Calif.) garden. Round here
they are usually grown on the north or east side of a building with little
to no sun. I know people who grow them under the overhangs of their
house--bright light but no direct sun. Chlorosis is the biggest problem in
growing them close to the house. My foundation, at least, seems to be
alkaline. I use Miracid on mine. Good luck!

Madelin
