Good evening --
I have a half hour drive to work and home again every day along the
Interstate.
I enjoy the wildflowers (and wildlife) and wish I knew what they are.
Unfortunately I drive too fast to get a good look at anything.
The crown vetch is lovely right now but it is about the only thing I can
identify.
About a month ago there were some real pretty purple flowers about 3 ft tall.
I found some along a nearby road and dug up a few.
Please don't tell on me. ;-)
Thought these might be Anchusa.
I also see them in Wildflower Gardens about the same time.
Recently, I've been seeing 2 types of (small) yellow flowers.
One is about 6 inches and covers a large area almost like a ground cover.
The other is about 1 ft and more in clumps.
Thought about digging a couple of them up too but don't want something I'll
regret.
One more thing -- light blue flowers on naked branching stems.
Not at all desirable for my garden but am just curious as long as I'm asking.
Thank you for your help identifying these.
I know all of you are busy and I appreciate the time you take to help us out.
Therefore --
Have a cup of coffee on me & a few roses to brighten your day!
