Foxtail lilies

I have 5 eremurus plants in my suburban Toronto garden (zone 5/6) and are
nearly finished their blooms today...
the flowers are stunning and the dried seed heads make a wonderful flower
arrangement in the winter...
they take years to mature to send up their flowers but the wait is
worthwhile..
the only thing you have to watch for is that the young shoots in the spring
cannot be exposed to a late frost and they need a mulch or decent snow cover
in the winter...
a very interesting plant and would recommend it to anyone...
