Starfire is the classic red Phlox it's been around a while but still is a choice plant in the landscape.

It's color is not scarlet red- but it is still one of the best reds out in this group of plants.

'Sandra' is another reddish/orange that has done well, but does not flower as reliable as 'Starfire' Which blooms well for me every year and no mater how many times I divide it.
What i like about the garden Phloxs or Phlox paniculata is that the dirrent colors bloom at diffrent times durinh mid to late summer.

I have some whites that bloom up till frost here while I have a few colors that bloom in mid/late july.
