'Paprika' and most other cultivars should be fine -- it's just the
white-flowered one that's bad. It's common in grassy areas along
roadways, cultivated fields, etc. Swink & Wilhelm call it "one of
the commonest plants of our flora; weedy, characteristic of dry
pastures and other grassy areas with a history of cultivation."
People often confuse it with Queen Anne's Lace.
I think Paprika will be OK for you -- I haven't seen it become overly
vigourous.

Magnolia in bloom! Wow! I was excited because my primroses were blooming.
:) But it sounds great where you're at, and I can't wait until it spreads
further north...
