I deadhead regularly - almost every day unless it's raining.
Deadheading daylilies gets me out in the sun. But then, I have a small
garden - no huge expanses of daylilies - or anything else! I've read
DeSabato-Aust's description of spent blossoms - very "picturesque", but
if you deadhead frequently, the blossoms don't get quite so disgusting!
