Anyway, you might find the Clemson U. 'Types of Geophytes' page
helpful. Nice line drawings of true bulbs, tubers, corms, etc. with
a description / explanation of what they are and examples of some of
the plants loosely termed 'bulbs' that have each type of storage
system.
