Yes, Hemerocallis is a member of the Liliaceae family. (In English, daylilies 
are in the lily family.) They are a different genus, but in the same family.  
Or at least they were.  If what Marge suspects is true, then the taxonomists 
have moved them.  I have a hard time believing that Kew list is a complete 
list.  Liliaceae is (was?) a big family.  Surely those crazed botanists 
didn't move over half of them.  Does anyone know for sure?
