I believe it is too early to find the bugbane(Cimicifuga),
joe-pie-weed(Eupatorium but the but the Caryopteris should be showing
some green up the stems or at least some swelling buds. Then you will
just have to cut them off to encourage new growth. Patience, a freeze
may just still come and the plants need to wait a little longer. I
know, we can't wait.
