    Sounds like you have the Blue Cohosh planted in the right spot. How big was
the plant when you received it? If it came from seeds or was fairly small, you may
have a couple more years to wait for blooms and berries. Generally it is 4 to 5
years from germination to first flower. Reason it is not carried by a lot of
nurseries ... takes too long. If it does not bloom and set berries it does go on
into dormancy early.  With berry production foliage should be around until about
September.
