Re: Blue flowers

Just yesterday the local paper did a quick mention of the blue poppies
(meconopsis) in bloom in the Exhibition Hall over at Longwood Gardens. The color
in the photo was stunning.  Apparently they typically die when the temperatures
exceed 80 degrees, so it's not surprising that they were shipped from a nursery in
Alaska!  And they'll be blooming for only about 3 weeks so I'd better hurry up and
pop over there for a peek in person!  If the color in person is anything like the
photo, they'll be beautiful.
