RE: Blue flowers

Cheryl,
Yes Veronicas are very nice too. I particularly like Crater Lake as it is
such an intense blue - a gentian blue. Sunny Border Blue is nice and
flowers for a long time, but it is more purple than blue - at least to my
eyes. I wonder if climate can effect the color? V. 'Georgia Blue', 8-10",
is blooming right now with dark bronzy red foliage and masses of bright blue
buttons with a little white eye. Which reminds me of "Blue Eyed Mary", a
very nice ground cover for moist shade.
Soooo many blues, so little space :)

Chantal and Marilyn,

I grow several very blue veronicas - Sunny Border Blue, Goodness Grows,
Crater Lake Blue and Combs Speedwell. Each has it spot - the Combs
Speedwell is a evergreen ground cover that is covered in tiny blue flowers
each with the tiniest white spot in the center. Crater Lake Blue is loose
and about 10 inches high. It gives a very frothy effect. The rest lend
height and color of spiky blooms.

Oh and I ordered a bunch more - you always need more blue.

I also grow lots of love in a mist for their bit of blue too.

Cheryl
