RE: daffodil tour

Linda & Bill,
Depending on where you live, you might want to enlist your neighbor's help
for tour parking. Last summer I had about 250 visitors through here in
conjunction with a program on fragrance in the garden. Since I live in the
city and some of my neighbors don't have garages (they park on the street),
I wanted to free up as much parking space as I could. Letting your
neighbors know ahead of time that there will be lots of cars or maybe even
tour buses on your street could be helpful. I also have been known to ply
their cooperation with a few nice plants over the fence on occasion. :)
(OK, call it a bribe) Keeping your neighbors happy avoids sour grapes and
heated discussions.
You will need at least 2 helpers. One to keep the refreshments going and at
least one other (two is better) to help answer questions from your visitors.
Good luck and enjoy your big day, Marilyn
