Bleach is toxic to plants but you would use a diluted solution. I would not
use it on small seedlings ether unless you really had too. But full grown
plants should be able to take it. Its a very common disinfectant use in
tissue culture to clean up tissue and seeds.
10 percent dilution of house hold bleach is normally used-it should kill the
spores and small liverworts-it might be worth a try in a test area. I would
mix it and use it in a spray bottle as a mist-in one hour I would wash the
plants down with water to clean off any residue.
