Again for New England gardeners, the Big Dig is going to have a huge inner 
city garden built somewhere on top of some part of it, it is all so vague 
this project, by the Mass. Hort. Soc.  If we live long enough, Boston will 
have a brand new and finely sponsored, very modern and up to date, botanic 
garden which may be the only good part of this dreadful affair.

For the rest of the readers, the Big Dig is a road project through the 
coastal area of Boston which has been in progress for many years, cost more 
than any other construction project in the world and may never end.
