Yes a photo would help. But he's probably describing a double daffodil. Some
doubles even have multiple florets on a stem like Cheerfulness, Yellow
Cheerfulness, Erlicheer, and Sir Winston Churchhill. Bulb shape and color are
as dependent on growing conditions as on type of daffodil. Of course the
larger the daffodil the larger the bulb (usually!).
