I started a lot earlier than you did. Bought small plants locally. Only the really old ones. When I found Hellebore list on computer got seeds from Hellex seed exchange. Now too many of so so plants. The people with seeds had beautiful plants so I got more interested. But every one of the seeds I bought from Dudley in Tasmania are special. Then we finally began to get plants from across the Mississippi from Terra Nova. This plant addiction can get out of hand. Nancy From: owner-perennials@hort.net [mailto:owner-perennials@hort.net] On Behalf Of Kitty Morrissy I have had the benefit of one seedling plant from my ordinary Lenten Rose. Kitty From: o*@hort.net [o*@hort.net] On Behalf Of Nancy Robinson None of my hellebores are growing in water. After growing do not water except the ones that got too much light during the past hot dry summer. Compost and some lime maybe needed. My problem is getting rid of hundreds of seedlings. Can't miss deadheading even one plant.
Hmmm..but how wet can they get. New plants what do we feed them and when, also what food? We have tomorite for tomatoes could I use that? Thanks! Kate
