Re: spring and the robins/hot color orange

Hi, gang --

I don't have any "hot" colored borders (esp. after our 106 degree July a
couple of years ago), but I love touches of orange mingled with blue,
purple, grey, white, peach & yellow, esp. with deep colored foliage such
as heuchera and purple grasses. Butterfly weed is lovely & soft,
daylilies abound (not the ditch ones), as do asiatic lilies. And where
would my tiny veggie bed be without orange marigolds to set off the
purple peppers and herbs? Some of the roses on the orange side are
stunning as well, though my limited rose space is confined to pinks and
two reds. More ideas on orange combos?
