here's an idle question. what do you suppose the effects of a mild
winter are, especially assuming that we have a mild spring, on
perennials, shrubs, trees, seeds in the ground, etc.? seems like it
ought to have a bunch of effects. would bad insects that might otherwise
get killed survive? might we not have to prune back our buddleias?
