I've noticed some effects already and you are dead on from what
I'm seeing. My buddleias are already all leafed out, as are my
roses, all shrubs and the perennials that are up and growing
just floored me. I strolled through the gardens the other day
and was flabbergasted at what I found. We are easily a month
early. Wouldn't you know it is the one year I found sufficient
patience and was too busy to start seeds up too early? When
this year it wouldn't have been? Grrrrr.

The cats are bringing ticks in. It appears there was not a
sustained cold period to kill them off. I expect to see a
tremendous surge in insect populations here. Hopefully it will
hold true for the good as well as the annoying. :)
