I cannot attest to its heat tolerance, as we don't get intense heat
here, but I've had our speciman plant wilt numerous times inside the
Greenhouse.  Watering it brings it right back, tho.
I'd say humidity is alright, as this speciman plant stays inside the
Greenhouse which is  locked up tight at night, and very humid during
that time.
