Re: Soil Sterilization

I think that pre-emergents have their place, like sidewalks and patios, but
not in the garden.  What is in those things anyway?  Do you really want
noxious chemicals in your gardens?  I prefer the old fashioned way, pulling
or hoeing the little buggers.  There is something therapeutic about ridding
the soil of unwanted plants.  I, for one, find weeding a very pleasurable
task.
